Pattern has always informed my practice with its infinite array of different styles, aesthetics, traditions and innovation. To build my own pattern designs I regularly take inspiration from vintage quilts, tapestries and symbols found within the everyday. I am a collector of pattern, and use my mixed-media making methods - including drawing, printmaking, painting, collage and digital editing - as a comprehensive process that’s constantly connecting with and newly discovering patterns’ potential.
